Independent Paint Inspection provides the following comprensive Welding Inspection Services :

- Examination of contractors’ specifications/ tenders and recommendation regarding contractors’ capabilities
- Review such as Welder Certs, Welding Procedures, NDT Qualifications, NDT Procedures, NDT Reports, drawings and specifications produced by or for the client and to advise on suitable weld inspection regime as per specification. We attend fabrication shops and inspect and comment on suitability of the works at each stage of the process.
- Liaising with other contractors and manufacturers on access, attending site co-ordination meetings.
- Managing the welding element of large construction projects for clients on a consultancy basis
- Part time or full time inspections are available depending on clients’s requirement.
- We carry out weld testing in accordance with the specification. This may be as part of cross checking other NDT companies work and verifying results. Also, acting as a third party inspector on behalf of the client.
- Prepare and issue an inspection report at each stage of the fabrication & protective coating application in accordance with the client’s programme.
- Arbitration in contract disputes between the Contractor, the Client and Third Parties
- Budgeting and Estimations tailored for each individual project.
- Advise on repair to old structures such as wrought iron and cast iron and early steels as may arise.
