Epoxies - are a type of resin formed by the reaction of aliphatic or aromatic polyols (such as bisphenol) with epichlorohydrin and charactarised by the presence of oxirane end groups. Epoxies have excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, water resistance and wet adhesion. They are usually used as surface tolerant coatings.
